SMILEYS CHILDCARE AGENCY has a large number of qualified
nannies, nursery nurses, teachers and experienced
mothers around the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire area,
who can come to your home in the evening to look after
your children while you are out. Our babysitters are
all fully screened and vetted and importantly asked
to complete an enhanced CRB (criminal records bureau
check).
ALL Smileys
babysitters carry identification cards confirming
their personal details and photograph. Please feel
free to ask to see these ID cards on arrival.
When you book one
of our babysitters we will provide someone who lives
as close to you as possible and will have their own
transport. Clients wishing to join our annual membership
will be able to meet their sitter prior to any dates
booked and continue with the same sitter throughout
their membership.
We charge £120 to join
our agency for a year. If you do not join the agency
we charge a £12 booking fee per babysitting session.
The annual membership allows unlimited evening babysitters. All fee's are subject to vat.
 If you would like to register for our babysitting service, please forward the attached application form completed to us via email/post, and a member of staff will be in touch with you imminently.
The
Babysitter
When a babysitter is given your booking she will ring
to check details of the job. Please confirm your name,
address, the age and number of your children and any
other relevant information you feel is necessary.
Babysitters are NOT PERMITTED to give out their
telephone numbers. Your babysitter will normally be
able to start from 7pm onwards.
When the babysitter arrives please make sure she has
a telephone number of your doctor, a near relative
or friend and at least one number where you can be
contacted that evening. Please give her any instructions
about feeds, nappy changes, any special needs the
children may have, favourite toys or bedtime traditions!
The babysitter will collect her payment from you at
the end of the evening. Please can you pay the babysitters
in cash not cheques.
Travelling
Expenses
Parents are not asked to reimburse any travelling
expenses, as all babysitters are drivers with their
own transport.
Cancellations
If a parent cancels the babysitter within 48 hours
he/she will be asked to pay the minimum charge of
4 hours (£26.00) and the booking fee in full to the
agency.
