Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year | Up to £14.42 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Days/Hours: 40 hours | 4 days | Shifts between 8:00am–6:00pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in Edenbridge, Kent TN8. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow through play.

Located in the heart of Edenbridge, our welcoming nursery supports children from 3 months to preschool age, offering high-quality childcare within a warm and caring setting. We are proud of our experienced and dedicated team and are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join us. Our nursery encourages creativity, curiosity, independence, and confidence through engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

This role is ideal for a newly qualified practitioner looking to begin their childcare career or an experienced Nursery Practitioner seeking a new challenge within a supportive nursery environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a group of young children within the nursery
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and childcare practices

About You

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role
• Strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practice
• Excellent communication skills with parents and carers
• Passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing
• Eligible to work in the UK
